No Smoke, Odour or Ash produced
Bio ethanol is liquid fuel derived from renewable raw material such as sugarcane, potatoes and wheat. It is clean burning and produces no smoke or ash. No harmful emissions are released and the only by-products are water vapour and as little carbon dioxide as we exhale. Bio ethanol is known by many different names; it is most commonly known as methylated spirits or denatured ethanol. They are available from our local resellers or most major hardware stores.

Simply fuel your burner with bio ethanol, and light your fire with a lighter for an instant and beautiful flame. Each fireplace comes with an extinguishing tool which is used to cover the flame and put out the fire. No utility connections or any other power sources are required. Our freestanding models are portable so they can be moved from one room to another. I built this BBQ table last summer(2008) and we had the most amazing time enjoying it with friends and family. Even after a new years party when it poured down with rain the next morning; I loaded up the grand fire 32 classic with bacon for a good wake-up feed. I get a lot of comments asking how to build it and find myself emailing build photos. I always recommend the grand fire from Hauland of course. And that people should but their own steak because the steaks from NZ butchers are like schnitzel!

Really enjoying the Kamado Joe. It is remarkably easy to use and as you can 'turn them off' when you finish cooking they use way less charcoal than I expected. Having read a few books on using Kamado ovens and how versatile they are I had been sceptical, but now, having baked and steamed food as well as 'low and slow smoking", roasting, braising and searing I am convinced. Just need a wok and I can stirfry too. Finally, the slide out ash drawer makes cleaning after use a very quick and easy job. Even though it is winter I am outside cooking 5 or 6 times a week.

Wanted to chuck a few photos in showing Brisket, ribs and home made sausages. All inspired by my Kamadojoe. I have spent hour on end using Joe, I'm an impatient person and get board of things quickly, I've had this for over 4 years now an Joe gets used all the time and manages to keep my focus, and with better results than a lot of these BBQ restaurants that are popping up. So an excellent product that has feed many people and received acclaimed feed back:)
